Homeopathy: economical and effective
New data from Securvita, a German health insurance company, confirm that medical treatment with homeopathy is an important and effective addition to conventional medicine. The study shows that policy holders who receive homeopathic care are significantly better off and need fewer conventional medicines than those who receive ordinary conventional care without homeopathic treatment. This applies to both children and adults, suffering from a wide range of conditions. The effectiveness of medical homeopathic treatments is demonstrated through a number of measures, including the lower consumption of strong drugs, a reduction in the number of days off work, fewer hospital admissions and shorter hospital stays.
Why people use complementary and alternative medicine
A new study finds that the main reasons for using complementary and alternative medicine are a positive attitude towards it and dissatisfaction with conventional medicine.
