ECHAMP Membership Assembly 2021

On 20 April, ECHAMP held its 21st annual Membership Assembly. Members from across Europe rallied together to overcome their ‘Zoom fatigue’ and met online for a day of updates and exchange, association formalities and informal networking.
It was a welcome opportunity to meet up with many familiar faces, albeit virtually. Despite the challenges of the past 12 months, ECHAMP has been working hard throughout 2020 and we were pleased to share progress with the members and to get their feedback. David Reckeweg-Lecompte, President of ECHAMP, reported on the activities of 2020 and the plans for 2021, while other members of the Board of Management updated the Members on other important projects and developments. The timetable allowed for a first catch up on people’s experience of the past year, and some long breaks, offering the opportunity for more informal networking.
Next year’s Membership Assembly is planned for 25-26 April in Brussels, to be chaired by Nonna Petrova, of Alpen Pharma in Bulgaria. We are optimistic that we will finally be able to meet again in person.
