Weleda (UK) Ltd is part of the international Weleda Group, and manufactures and distributes Anthroposophic and Homeopathic Medicines and natural Body Care products in the UK. It was established in 1925 to serve the growing interest in doctors for Anthroposophic medicine. Since then Weleda (UK) has developed into a £4 million business, not only supplying dispensed medicines to anthroposophic and homeopathic doctors but also a wide range of self-medication and body care products to retailers across the UK. The dispensary has access to over 5000 different substances from which to prepare medicines, while the retail ranges consists of some 300 products for everyday problems. To ensure the quality of products produced Weleda grows a majority of its raw materials in its own Demeter-certified organic gardens.
