Better Regulation - Better Communication
On 28 April, ECHAMP hosted its annual workshop, this year entitled: ‘To make Directive 2001/83/EC work for homeopathic and anthroposophic medicinal products: Better regulation needs better communication’. Attended by over 70 participants, it was the largest such workshop hosted by ECHAMP to date, and included participants from 19 countries around Europe, including full, associate and corresponding members of ECHAMP, and representatives of the doctors’ and pharmacists’ organisations in Slovenia.
The workshop was an excellent opportunity for all the stakeholders in the field of homeopathy and anthroposophic medicinal products – the competent authorities, patients, doctors, practitioners and industry – to come together to seek common and pragmatic solutions to improve the availability of these products in Europe. It was also the subject of some attention in the Slovene media, with items appearing on local TV and radio, and in the national press. Please click here to see the press release.
