The ‘European Summer’ has arrived. Each year the temperature rises slightly. Interest in complementary medicine is also growing, not just amongst the citizens but increasingly amongst expert committees and decision makers in the field of health. Improved communication and exchange of information with patients and complementary medicine practitioners is essential to ensure better policies in this field.
The time is right to improve communication in general, because some years after the most important enlargement in its half-century history, the European Union faces a number of major changes. The ‘Irish No’ will not stop the process but it might bring the decision makers closer to the 500 million citizens, including more than 100 million users of homeopathic and anthroposophic remedies.

This event in May demonstrated the political presence of the homeopathic community and promoted homeopathic products among an increasingly homogeneous and open group. There is a growing concern that European overregulation is increasingly affecting availability of homeopathic medicines all over the Community.
