EFHPA General Assembly
The European Federation of Homeopathic Patients’ Associations (EFHPA) held its annual meeting in Greece at the end of 2007. Representatives attended from Belgium, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK with apologies from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary and Norway.
Speaking at the event, President Enid Segall stressed the importance of patients’ associations working closely with homeopathic doctors throughout Europe to ensure that homeopathy is included in every member state’s healthcare system. Representatives made a commitment to recruit at least one new member country during the coming year (there are currently 15 member countries). Summarising the weekend, Enid commented: ‘The warm atmosphere created by our Greek hosts contributed greatly to the success of the meeting which left the delegates re-enthused and armed with new ideas and aims to carry back to their home country.’
